It is wonderful -- that through this medium of technology -- you and I have made a real connection. A connection that transcends the ordinary limitations of geography, culture and time. Perhaps we will never meet in the flesh. Perhaps we will. Either way, we are here together. Right now. This connection is a spark. And I believe that if we fan the spark just a little, by delving into the topics discussed here, a new kind of fire will begin to burn inside.
Together we will light up the world.
The purpose of this blog is to support sincere seekers in their quest for authentic spiritual awakening, self-healing, radiant health, and enlightened living in all Nine Petals of Life.
The larger vision behind this blog, and the purpose of all of my books, DVDs and teachings, is the development of an enlightened society. Some people say this is a far fetched dream, that humanity is doomed. I do not agree. I believe an enlightened society is possible (and I am willing to bet that you do, too).
There has never been a more opportune moment for the awakening of humanity. The time is now. And time is of the essence.
The path has been forged by the great wisdom traditions of the world. The practices have been time-tested. What remains to be done is the deep inner work of genuine self-cultivation. This happens at the level of the individual; not in theory, not as an outward act or spiritual facade, but as actual embodied practice rooted in the Vital Center.
It is my sincere wish that you will consider the possibility of your own awakening seriously, that you will take up the daily practice of inner-cultivation, that you will materialize your full potential and become a light unto the world.
As I look around at the suffering, it breaks my heart. These are our people. Humanity is our family. The world needs us now more than ever. Let us not succumb to negativity, cynicism, apathy or laziness. Let us not waver from what we know in our hearts to be true: that life is good, that the Great Light of Love yet shines.
To make a real difference, we have to go deep into our own self-cultivation. It is not easy, I know. I have walked the path myself and there are many challenges. Yet there is no endeavor more worthy of our time and effort than the process of our own healing and awakening.
