Tantric Yoga & Pranayama Intensive Weekend - Prescott, AZ

In this comprehensive weekend you will learn traditional application of yogic mantras, mudras, asanas, kriyas, bandhas, pranayama, and meditation. Through proper understanding of these practices you will discover how to feel deeply into your inner body, move from your organs instead of your muscles, learn to feel prana, hear nada, and delve into the deeper dimensions of Yoga practice. You will also receive traditional instruction on how to use your hands to form powerful Tantric mudras that can transform negative emotions, clear the body of disease, open the heart, and concentrate the mind. Proper technique and traditional application of the major yogic pranayams, and how to best apply these according to your ayurvedic constitution, will also be taught. In-depth study and practice of: Kapalabhati, Bastrika, Shitali, Nadi Shodhana, Ashvini Mudra Pranayam, and Brahmari will be covered, as well as in-depth understanding of these techniques based on the principals of Ayurveda. All levels welcome.

Friday, October 2nd 5 – 9 pm

Roots, History & Philosophy of Tantric Yoga: Lecture, meditation, and gentle internal practice to set a solid foundation for the weekend intensive.

Saturday, October 3rd 8:30 am – 12:30 pm


Rising Up: Learn traditional Tantric kriyas and shat karma for cleansing and revitalizing the internal organs, opening the spiritual gates, smoothing connective tissue, and preparing the mind for meditation.



Saturday, October 3rd 2 – 5 pm


The Inner Structure of Tantric Yoga: Understand your body’s internal energetics (doshas, koshas, vayus, chakras) and how to access your higher potential through correct application of mudra, bandha, asana, and pranayama.



Sunday, October 4th 8:30 am – 12:30 pm


Moving with Nature: Learn powerful yogic techniques for harmonizing with the rising sun, opening the joints, and harnessing the power of Nature to systematically awaken your body and ignite your spirit. 



Sunday, October 4th 2 – 5 pm


Entering Stillness: Through traditional Tantric practices of mudra, mantra and meditation you will learn to enter deep intimacy with your own direct experience, and discover greater freedom and joy in the present moment.

$200 for the full weekend (20 hours of instruction)

The Heart of Tantric Yoga - 9 am - 12:30 pm

In-depth study and practice of: Kapalabhati, Bastrika, Shitali, Nadi Shodhana, Ashvini Mudra Pranayam, and Brahmari will be covered, as well as in-depth understanding of these techniques based on the principals of Ayurveda. All levels welcome.

Experience the meditative spirit of classical Chinese tea culture. 
In the ambiance of a wooden yurt, to the backdrop of soothing Chinese music, you will learn traditional ways of brewing, serving and enjoying tea that greatly enhance the aroma, flavor and spirit of what flows from your cup. Learn to recognize different varieties of tea and how tea is traditionally used to balance your mind and harmonize with nature. Light snacks will be served to enhance the delight of your tea drinking.
